A Story from the Heart - an animation made by the Film & Video Workshop and the Elizabeth Garret Anderson School, won the best film in the 9 to 14 age category at the Leeds Young People's Film Festival.
First Light Screening Event Ideas

For anyone who wants to see how other projects hold their screening events, you could see how SAMPAD South Asian Arts and WOW Festival did theirs. Recent First Light Screenings

Queens Park New Media Centre and Paddington Arts was screened at Jump Cuts on Saturday 12th November.

West Dunbartonshire Council screened a range of short films, including some First Light productions. The event will take place at Clydebank Town Hall on November 17th.

Street Rat - a film by Coombeshead College and Ipplepen Primary School was premiered at the Coombeshead Theatre, Newton Abbot on Wednesday 23rd November.

Nightmare On Old Street by Richard Cloudesley School and All Change Arts was screened at the 7th Disability Film Festival, held at the NFT from the 30th November to 4th December 2005.

A girl arrives in style to her film's premiere
Forthcoming Screenings
National Deaf Children's Society will screen One Last Time at the Queens Film Theatre, Belfast on 16th December. The short will be screened alongside the acclaimed film March of the Penguins.

The Green Room a short by Toxteth TV will be screened as part of a triple bill of TTV-produced short films by and for young people on Monday 19 Dec from 6.00pm. The event will include a Q & A with the films' directors and participants.
