Working with Young People
Organisations and individuals who work with young people must comply with Government legislation covering the protection of children.A copy of this legislation and advice can be found here:
HMSO - Acts 1999 Recently the Criminal Records Bureau took over the whole issue of disclosing individuals criminal records should they wish to work with young people or other similarly vunerable groups. It is also good practice to ask the parents or guardians of young people to sign a 'release form' which gives permission for their image to be used in the films and in photographs to promote the films.
