Film and Citizenship

First Light has produced a resource document, charting the experiences of the four schools and filmmakers involved in the Film and Citizenship campaign. It acts as a useful pack of hints, ideas and tips for anyone interested in using filmmaking to teach (whether it's citizenship or another curriculum topic).

The book can be downloaded in three sections (if you have Adobe Acrobat - if you don't, then click here to download the software for free):

'4 Schools, 4 Ideas and 4 Films' gives an insight into the initial film ideas and the background of the teachers and filmmakers.

'The Filmmaking Process' explains the processes the four schools went through to make their films, and provides hints, tips and ideas about filmmaking.

'Filmmaking and the Citizenship Curriculum' closes the book, placing the filmmaking process within the context of teaching citizenship. edit 943
