Here's the section for teaching professionals looking for ideas on using filmmaking in the classroom.
A great place to start would be our Big Screen Science project, run in collaboration with NESTA, the National Endowment for Science, Technology and Arts, and the Wellcome Trust.
Click here to find out more about that.

Our Film and Citizenship campaign has proved to be another useful tool in helping teachers explore and utilise filmmaking with young people. Run as a screenwriting competition, the final project resulted in the Film and Citizenship book, and four completed films.
If you would like a free copy of the 'Film and Citizenship,' book and the four accompanying films, please email info@firstlightmovies.com You can also download the original screenwriting kit here, as well as see info on the four schools who won the chance to have their script ideas made into films.
If you are interested in applying to First Light for funding to make a film, then information can be found here. It includes an eligibility test, and details of how you can apply.
Check out examples of work First Light has previously funded in our screening room. Our filmmaking section follows the production process step by step with plenty of useful hints and tips.
