Screening - Motherwell Youth Enterprise Centre
10th October 2003 This group had two of their films shown during the Co-operative Young Film Makers Festival at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television.

'A Day in the Life of Class 1B' by Ridgepark School and 'Flying Cars' by Firpark School were screened at the event. Ridgepark School were also awarded The National Museum of Photography, Film and Television Young Film-Makers Special Achievement Award. Both schools travelled down to Bradford to the Festival to collect their awards.

Firpark School Quotes
Paul Carroll – There were lots of things to do and we were never bored. I liked the spy camera (camera obscura); I got a good view of the bus stop!
Lisa Campbell – I liked the flying carpet, it looked as if we were flying in the sky and we could see the animals down below.
Lisa Marie Hendry – I liked watching all the different films, they were good. It was a good laugh watching our own film.
Colin Greenhill – I liked the museum. It was good fun reading the news on TV. I’d like to go back sometime!
