BBC Film Network
The BBC, in partnership with the UK Film Council, has launched BBC Film Network. A site designed to showcase the best of British independent short film.
This new film resource can be used in a number of ways. You can watch brilliant short films and animations, get information about festivals, funding and filmmaking and join the online community of directors, producers, writers and fellow film lovers.
Perhaps most importantly, you can send in your own short films to be considered for the site through a simple submission procedure.
BBC Film Network already has a bright and varied catalogue of films on offer from all over the UK including many that have won industry awards and critical acclaim.
Gerard O’Malley, BBC Interactive Executive says: “We’re very excited about working with the UK Film Council to provide a public space where people can come together to showcase their work, or simply to indulge in their passions and interests with fellow enthusiasts”.
